Dr. Hurst specializes in General Surgery, Cancer Care (Oncology), and Vascular Surgery at Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. His clinical interests include Sarcoma, Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer, Melanoma and Rectal Cancer. Board certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Hurst is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine, and he spent his residency at the Charles R. Drew University School of Medicine and Science Medical Center. Dr. Hurst is a member of the American College of Surgeons.

A retired Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Hurst has served more than 25 years in the United States Army Reserve. His Active-Duty Service includes both “Operation Noble Eagle” in Iraq and “Operation Enduring Freedom” in Afghanistan.
