Dr. Bernard has dedicated her career to advancing novel therapeutics and has spent more than 15 years as a Scientific and Medical Affairs leader. Her experience includes start-up, mid-size, and large pharmaceutical companies supporting drug-development from pre-IND to launch and through life-cycle management. Her expertise spans multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal diseases. She supported the successful launch of programs such as denosumab at Amgen, ibrutinib at Abbvie and ripretinib at Deciphera. She joined Palisade Bio in June 2022 and has successfully established a Corporate Development department that encompasses Business Development, Medical Affairs, and Translational Science. She leads the Nonclinical program design and execution and Regulatory strategy and execution for PALI-2108. She has authored and presented multiple presentations for Palisade at international congresses.

Dr. Bernard received her Bachelor of Science at the University of California San Diego and her PhD at the University of California Irvine. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute.
